Us
Glen Meadows is a wonderful neighborhood
located just north of Dallas in the city of Plano, Texas.
We're in a prime location on the west side of Plano, just
minutes from shopping, restaurants, entertainment,
expressways, recreation and schools.
History
Before it was a subdivision, the land that our neighborhood
now sits on had a high plains look to it, with lots of
brush and a pond. Then in 1992 Republic Property Group
developed the property and Jim Ellis, who is still a Glen
Meadows resident, bought the first lot. Today, there are
187 brick homes nestled along Glen Meadows' tree-lined
streets. The original builders were Drees Homes, David
Weekley Homes and Sovereign Homes. Near the end of the
build-out, Mercedes Homes bought the remaining 15-20 lots
and the subdivision was finished in 1995.
